    Hey Betsy!

    I saw your comment on my blog about braces. I do have a few tips...Don't worry, it's not as bad as it seems. The dentist will probably give you a list of do's and don'ts as well.

    1. Don't bite on especially hard things, chew sticky candy, or eat popcorn. Drink pop (soda) only on special occasions.
    2. Brush really well in the back of your mouth and around all brackets.
    3. Don't be self-conscious of your smile.
    4. Tell the dentist if something is bothering you...nothing worse than a poking wire.
    5. Always remember it's worth it in the end and your teeth will be perfect!!
