Book Review #2: Twelve Candles Club

Hello again guys! My second book review on this blog. I love doing blog series. Since I'm pretty bored and I love designing stuff, so I will design a button for book reviews:):) It is below at almost the end of my post. Man I'm busy, at least on the computer, I'm writing a post on Cat Care, while designing the button for this post:) and writing this post- and listening to Taylor Swift's best song: Speak Now, I think that and we are never getting back together tie, way just switched to Call me Maybe:):) I just got tons of songs today on Itunes, so I'm listening to all of them. SORRY BOUT THAT OFF TRACK! Let me get back on track:):) Wait now I'm listening to We Are Never Getting Back Together, now You Belong With Me, OK earlier I was never listening to Speak Now, just wanted to give my opinion:):) OOPS! I'm not giving a book review on Taylor Swift. SO SORRY! Now "Hold Me" by Jamie Grace with Toby Mac:):) Now about Twelve Candles club. This book series is about a group of best friend pre-teen girls who two of them are Christians. They have a club called the Twelve Candles Club, which is a working club. In most every book there is a mystery. I LOVE THESE BOOKS! They are so funny too! Oh I love the way you hold, in Your arms I'll always be! Sorry, I'm a little obsessed with music:):)
Now since this post is MOSTLY about music-here are the music videos of the songs I was listening too:

Fashion Post: 2: Nail Tutorial

So hey guys! Today I decided I would paint my nails, so I'm going to do a tutorial on how to paint your nails.

What you need:
Nail Polish
Nail Polish Remover
Cotton Balls

1. remove ALL nail polish off of your nails, don't even leave a tiny little bit. If you don't have nail polish on there then you can skip this step, obviously. After you get it all off, get a CLEAN AND FRESH cotton ball and dab your nails to remove ALL traces of the nail polish remover so that the other nail polish will go on well.

2. Get your nail polish, a very liquidy and not sticky type is the best, so those 1 dollar ones at claires don't work well. Paint a very thin coat on, going very slow and taking your time. Start with your thumb, then after you paint it let it dry, then paint the other fingers, you don't have to let those dry in between. Repeat on both hands, or feet.

3. Now if you did it right, you should still be able to see through the nail polish unless it's very dark. Then paint another very thin coat and let dry.

(optional) 4. Paint a VERY THIN layer of clear nail polish on your nails to protect them, I personally don't usually because it's hard to not make you nails lumpy when using it.

Here is a picture of MY finished product:

Georgia

How bout them Dawgs! My family is Georgia fans, which definatly includes me. I love the dawgs! Though, I'm not quite as interested in football as I am in swimming. Anyway, if you are a Alabama or Georgia fan then you were probably watching the SEC championship game a few days ago. Congrats to Alabama fans, you won! I'm not dispointed in Georgia AT ALL! We played a great game, and we were only four yards away from the National Championship. We should be proud of that, because we were playing such a great team,Alabama. I'm not going to say I'm glad we lost, because I'm not. But life goes on and really think about it, is this of ANY eternally value!?!?!?!? No it isn't. I'm not saying we can't be sad, but don't go on for a year moping:):) Anyway congrats to Alabama fans, Alabama players, and Nick Saben. And I'd also like to say: CONGRATS TO GEORGIA FANS, PLAYERS, AND MARCH RICHT! Mark Richt is a strong Christian you know:):) And I'm glad that we  the football players even got to have the honor of playing in the SEC Championship!!

What college team do you cheer for? And what is YOUR favorite sport? Are you a Alabama fan? Georgia fan? Don't really care? Really care? Sad about the SEC championship game? Happy bout it?

Fashion Post #1: Hair

As you can see on the picture to my left, I have very curly hair. And that day it wasn't that curly. Anyway it is all natural, I put not products in it and I don't curl it. I just wake up and wash it. Well I thought I would put how I care for my hair and some tips I've learned. I wash my hair usually everyday with SUAVE hair products. I use shampoo and conditioner. I love SUAVE! It has been working great for me. The scent really stays in there, so people smell my hair a couple hours after I took a shower and say- did you just wash your hair? I don't usually blow dry my hair, for it is bad for your hair, I usually try to only blow dry it twice a week. Now I know you are probably sometimes in a hurry so I think it is best only to do it a two times a week. All heat products are bad for your hair, including curling irons, straighteners, curling roll, and hair dryers. I wake up in the morning and brush my hair and spray water on it so it is easier to brush. Now in another post you will see my shampoo and conditioner, but here is a tip to use with your conditioner. Get your hair bands and rub conditioner in them, this will keep them from breaking your hair, and leave a nice scent on your bands. Also if you have curly hair and are just having a bad hair day, spray on water and then brush it till it is pretty straight, then scrunch it, this restores the curl that you lost when you had the bad hair day.
