Vocabulary

SALUTATIONS MY FRIENDS! I hope you are doing stupendously amazing! Well I'm currently working utterly hard on improving my vocabulary. IT STINKS. So my new best friend is: http://thesaurus.com/. Here are some substatary words to use instead of the usual words kids use nowadays:

Awesome- astonishing  capital stupefying magnificent. This word is way over used. Awesome is. My friend (not saying names) says awesome all the time and it REALLY bothers me.

Weird- uncanny (personal favorite), bizarre, outlandish.

There are so many words we can use instead of the usual words you find yourself saying every day.  I DARE YOU TO GO TO THE ABOVE WEBSITE AND TYPE IN A WORD YOU OVERUSE AND FIND SOME SYNONYMNS!

You would be bewildered (yes I did just type astonished at the website and came up with bewildered) at how many words there are!!!!!

What I want to do is to get a notebook that I can take with me places and write words I commonly use and write down another word that is more interesting I guess. And pull it out and choose another word. Like substitute weird for uncanny. or awesome for magnificent or stupefying. Like you could say "that is stupefying" when you see a gorgeous flower, instead of saying "that flower is awesome".
