Guest Post by Britt {Encouragement For Everyday Struggles}

Hello, I'm Britt from Encouragement For Everyday Struggles. Thanks for dropping by and taking a few minutes to read my guest post on Betsy's blog here. She is such a great girl and a great friend!! Okay, so I was thinking about what to write on today and I decided to write about something that has been involved a lot in my life recently.

I am 19 and planning to transfer to a college away from home next year. I am so scared and I have never been away from home more than a week. I'm a shy girl and don't have many friends. I'm afraid to go to a place where I don't know what to expect or what will be expected of me. Things are scary when we don't know what lies ahead or where God will lead us. Many times I find myself worried about the future and when I don't want to do something I always find myself trying to find a way out of it and making excuses to take the easy route.

We shouldn't just be doing things that are easy and going through life not taking any risks or stepping out for God, but we rather we should be going where God is leading us and experiencing the world through the paths that He has planned for us. Many times I know that I am scared of where God's plan will take me, but I can rest assured that God will be with me when I face hard times. He will carry me through and He will never leave my side even when everyone else does. It is so reassuring that when I feel alone and scared I know that God will be the One who is taking care of me and thinking of me all the time.

So if you feel afraid of the future or if you have been trying to take an easy route, just remember to be following God's path for you and following His will and He will provide and take care of you along the way.
